Proposal photography

There is a first time for everything! One of my buddies (Gubby) from high school asked me to photograph him proposing to his girlfriend on the beach. So, I nervously agreed. This is tough because I didn’t want to ruin the proposal by being seen! We planned, and I scoped out the area in Fenwick Island Delaware. I pretended I was sitting on the beach laying out next to the “doggy dropping bag” station. Everything went smoothly and when Gubby told Mel that I was up near the dunes it was hilarious! It reminded me of when someone finds out they’re on Candid Camera…and Mel turned around with a huge smile….scanning left and right. We then headed over to Fager’s Island in Ocean City Maryland for dinner at sunset. Then, Gubby asked me to be the best man in his wedding!!!! Oh yeah!!! Now I have the responsibility as the best man to find them a wedding photographer!

Hi Rob. I’m one of Mel’s BFFs. You did an amazing job. It brought a couple of tears to my eyes. I wish I had been there.

I cried the whole way home the moment I received Mel’s phone call on the big news.. then when I opened these it started all over again. These are truly priceless memories you were able to capture. I’m so happy you were there!

You did an outstanding job in capturing the moment.
Of course, you all know me, I saw the photos and once again starting crying with happiness.
Gub and Melody are just so great together, I am truely blessed to be getting a super daughter-in-law!
