    Old New Castle Engagement pictures

    By Rob | October 28, 2008

“My fiance and I are a FUN, young, crazy in love couple. We are hoping to book a site in the next two weeks…besides that, the photos are the most important element of our wedding! I LOVE photography and I have fallen IN LOVE with your style and I would really like you to take part in our special day :)”

Above was the first email I received from Val back in January.  Awesome, huh?  Val and Jais had narrowed their reception site down to DuPont Country Club, Hotel DuPont or Greenville Country Club.  We went back and forth through email for a while then I didn’t hear from them for months!  I was bummed out and cried myself to sleep for about a week. lol  Then 7 months later I get an email from Val asking if I was still open for her wedding date.  She said there were some major changes to their wedding planning efforts and they have decided to have a Westin Key West wedding in Florida!  Well, I was still open and now I’ll be taking part in their adventures in Key West Florida in March!!!!

So Val is a well respected Delaware Knottie and actually found me through another DE Knottie.  Thanks Cynthia!….woooot woooot!  Val has been great spreading “the good word”, and we finally met in person earlier this month for coffee.  Yesterday Val, Jais and I walked around Old New Castle Delaware to “warm up” with each other and take some engagement pics.  It was a bit chilly but we kept moving and got some great shots! I can’t wait to hang out again in Key West Florida for their destination wedding!!!  I’m sure it will be a little warmer.

    Key West here we come!!!!
