Well it’s that time again. I’m very excited to announce another art show to showcase some of my newest creations. On March 2nd 2008, from 2p.m. - 5p.m., Nassau Valley Vineyards will be hosting my opening reception. The pieces on display will be an abstract collection of motion and color.

Featured Entrepreneur

No, Donald Trump didn’t choose me to be The Apprentice…….
Well, along with being a professional photographer I’m also using my GI Bill from the Navy to complete my degree in Entrepreneurship. I have been interested in business since an early age and truly understand the importance of improving the “Professional” side of being a Professional Photographer. While in the Navy I really concentrated my learning in business, research and information systems. Since separating from the Navy I’ve completed various courses including Effective Business Planning, Technology Enabled Entrepreneur, Legal Issues for the Entrepreneur and currently Microeconomics. Anywhooooo…one of my Instructors nominated me to be the featured Entrepreneur student for Delaware Technical Community Colleges’ course catalog!
So for a change I was in front of the camera!!! It was kind of cool to work with another photographer to shoot my picture for the catalog. All I brought with me was my camera and some fishing string. Basically I tied the camera to the fishing string and wrapped it around my wrist to create this image.

Polar Bear Plunge Rehoboth Beach

Megan and Ben contacted me shortly after I shot Niki and Kyle’s White Clay Creek Country Club wedding. So after we chatted over email and phone for a while they finalized their January 2009 Mendenhall Inn wedding! Well, Megan emailed and told me that her and Ben would be coming down for the Polar Bear Plunge in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. She invited me down so we could finally meet. It turned out to be a pretty nice day for February! There were thousands of people there and Megan, Ben and their crew seemed to be having a blast! Since the Polar Bear Plunge started in 1992, they’ve raised 3.4 Million Dollars for the Special Olympics Delaware.
All ages came out to support the Polar Bear Plunge!

Cape May New Jersey engagement pictures

My adventure started with a very relaxing cruise on the Cape May Ferry from my house in Lewes Delaware. Last time I was in Cape May New Jersey was for Alicia and Mike’s Congress Hall wedding back in December. This time was to meet Brielle and Matt for the first time and shoot some engagement pictures. I’ll be hanging out with Brielle and Matt for their Washington Crossing Inn wedding in Washington Crossing Pennsylvania!!! Brielle and Matt were such a fun couple and reminded me why I love what I do!

Then we headed over to Mainstay Inn B&B.

Delaware Today and Delaware Bride’s 18th Annual Bridal Show

Delaware Today and Delaware Bride magazines will be hosting another wedding bridal show this year in Wilmington Delaware! Head on over to the Doubletree Hotel to scope out some vendors, check out the wedding fashion show and maybe even win some door prizes. Unfortunately, I do not have a booth this year, but I will be heading over there to hang out with some of my current couples! If you see me….feel free to say hello!

Also, remember I will have a booth for the Delaware Today and Delaware Bride magazines Bridal Show at the beach. Make My Day Events will be sponsoring the wedding fashion show and Tiara’s Bridal Boutique will be providing all the wedding dresses and tuxedos for the models.

Hawaii Aerial Photography

The trip to Hawaii was a great way for me to relax and recharge my batteries after a busy 2007 wedding season. Many people take a vacation to get away from what they do every day in the “real world.” Luckily my photography hobby is also my photography career. So you’re darn right I was taking pictures through out my adventures in Hawaii!
My trip to Hawaii was not all fun and games. I do want to thank Lisa and Jeff for allowing me to be a part of their amazing Hawaii wedding celebration!

Where the sky meets the ocean.
Hawaii was such a great place to photograph. Seems like everywhere we went, there was always an opportunity to take hundreds of pictures. I can’t wait to go back to Hawaii for another adventure.

Deerfield Golf Club wedding

Lyz, the girls, and I hung out before the ceremony. Then we headed down for a nice ceremony at St. John’s in Newark, Delaware. After the ceremony the festivities continued at their Deerfield Golf Club wedding! Seemed as if the dance floor was jammed packed all night!
Kristen Lober did a great job with the make-up! Her website will be up soon.

Trash the Dress Hawaii

After a two-week journey in San Diego I headed to the Big Island for a Hawaii wedding. My Hawaii adventures included a Big Island helicopter tour, spear fishing, cliff jumping, snorkeling…..oh and of course, the Hawaii wedding. I also set up a photoshoot with a local Kona girl for a Trash the Dress session….Hawaiian style! We had a blast and created some awesome pictures together!!!
